Data Center Facility and Location
Located in Olathe Kansas, the Kansys headquarters and data center was completed in July of 2007. The Data Center, otherwise called ‘the bunker’ was designed to withstand the strongest of tornados. From floor to ceiling, the entire room is incased in concrete.
As shown in the photos below all the walls are reinforced with steel rebar. The room was design for expansion as was the electrical and machine air handlers. Various measures were designed and installed to handle a variety of outages.
